Kelly received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah and completed a Master’s of Science degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. He is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American College of Phelbology. He is also professionally certified in pediatric advanced life support, advanced cardiac life support, and basic life support. Kelly’s work experience includes coordinating care of post-operative open heart patients at LDS Hospital in the Thoracic Intensive Care Unit (TICU), requiring him tand mechanical cardiac support.
He also worked in the medical/surgical ICU at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, where he was in charge of coordinating care of critically ill patients. His primary area of focus in the vein center is new patient consultations, which include varicose veins, pelvic congestion syndrome, and uterine fibroid embolization. In addition he also coordinates care for established patients.
