“Not worrying about both the pain and appearance of varicose veins has been a major confidence booster.” I started suffering from varicose veins in middle school but it wasn’t until after high school that I realized there was a safe, effective, and innovative way to treat varicose veins. I heard a couple success stories from an uncle and other close relatives and decided that if I were to experience the same benefits as they had – it was time to take action – and I made the call. I had heard of “vein stripping” and other painful procedures that left one’s leg black and blue for months and wasn’t too thrilled to have my varicose veins stripped out. Fortunately I learned of the endovenous laser therapy treatment that IVC performs and was relieved to hear that there were alternative methods available. To my delight the procedure was quick and relatively painless. Had I known the procedure was so quick and painless I probably would have taken care of the problem much sooner. Not worrying about both the pain and appearance of varicose veins has been a major confidence booster. I never really avoided wearing shorts, but I did tire of explaining what those unsightly bulging veins were that protruded from my leg. Now that I am varicose vein free I can live my life without the added pressure and discomfort of varicose veins, and the tiring social situations that resulted. At IVC, I always felt comfortable knowing that I was in good hands. Any questions I had were thoroughly answered and ample information was provided both pre and post procedure. The professionalism of IVC bolstered the trust I needed to go ahead with a very personal procedure.
